So I see Kate in Braniff before I go upstairs to eat. She tells me to call Kim, all mysterious-like. So I call Kim, and no one answers the phone. I didn't want to listen to our lame-o answering machine message, so I hung up and told Kate I'd call later. So I went upstairs and ate and looked at my yearbook (a separate matter) and answered the questions for lab, and at noon I went to call home. I figured if she didn't answer I'd just leave a harassing message. So it goes through the four.five rings, and it goes into some new and improved message I'd never heard before.
Hi, you've reached the upstairs Theresa quad of Kim, Kate, Michelle, and Ashley. Before you leave a message, let me tell you that I have a new baby sister that was born this day, Lucy Grace. So everyone have a good day because you know I am!
Or something to that effect. So I went back upstairs to my classroom, smiling all the way. I met up with Michael, who probably thought I was crazy because I don't often just have a huge smile on my face all the time. Lucy's on oxygen and an IV, but Kim doesn't seem to be too worried about that. She's going home next weekend to see her family + one.
Finally I can sleep well at night.
As previously stated, I got my yearbook today. I wasn't in it, of course, because of my recluse status that's only just begun to fade. But the yearbook people did a good job. They have some great pictures of some of my friends at Revenge Your Roomate last year (the memorable 'Revenge of the Nerds' theme) and singing at various things. And many many other great pictures of people I don't really know but are a part of UD. Really wonderful.
But most wonderful? That would be that Kim has a new sister.
And there's 90 days to Rome.

So I wore my Trogdor shirt today. Every time I wear it there are always people who comment on it. I get, 'Ohmygosh, you are awesome!!' (to which I can attest, I'm not so much) and people asking me where I got it. Today in Western Civ, when we were having our discussion on Marx, Phil turned around and while we were talking, he just busted out with 'Trog-a-dor!' and even Dr. Hanssen started chuckling. It was soooo funny.
That's every day I wear my great Trogdor the Burninator shirt.
have a great day :o)
