'ashley, i cut my finger'

So this weekend was a great weekend. Great. I did absolutely no homework of worth this weekend. I dabbled here and there in some random-type homework objects, but there wasn't any progress made. Michelle and Nicole went home this weekend, so our quad was a triple (that wasn't part of the greatness, though). *friday* Kim got her digital camera in Friday afternoon. So we tried to play around with it, but we didn't realize we couldn't without the battery and it had to be charged for hours and hours (and some more hours). So then we didn't do anything till later on that evening when the battery was semi-charged. She took pictures and videos and was tickled, while I tried to figure out how to put the pictures and videos on my computer (since she doesn't have enough memory). Kim played with her camera and the computer while Kate and I laid on my bed and made fun of Kim while she took pictures and videos of us making fun of her. And I do realize that sentence is not gramatically correct. Earlier that afternoon, we forced our RA in here to tell us about Rome, which is what the camera was for, and it was wonderful. Talking about Rome, getting excited about Rome. Later that night we had a roommate bonding time, which was lovely. *saturday* Once again, absolutely no homework of importance done this day (by important, I mean psychology). I spent the whole morning doing nothing. Kate and I watched 'The Princess Diaries' and ate cheese and crackers and summer sausage and grapes. We felt classy. Then I went to Aaron's to do a little bit of studying with him. It was a little productive; I read my lab for Monday and the Kant I had to read. So then I got home (after missing by a hair a fire alarm in the hall) and avoided starting my psychology while I didn't know where Kim and Kate were. They came back all of a sudden with Luke, a junior who went to Rome in the spring. He was here for three mo-fo hours telling his entire Rome experience. *interlude* Since Kate thought she was so classy, she started to cut up the cheese and sausage for Luke and Kim. So me and Kim and Luke are in the bedroom and Kate's in the living room when all of a sudden I hear, 'Ashley, I need you for a second.' So I go to the other room to find Kate standing in front of the sink with her finger sliced open, bleeding, and she said, 'Ash, I cut my finger' all pitiful-like. It was so funny, in a painful way. We were cracking up. She's a hypocondriac and thought she needed stitches, but she was overreacting. She's all like, 'Lemme call my parents and ask them what to do...don't tell Kim and Luke!' So I go back into the other room and tell the two that Kate went to call her parents and to start the story without her. After a while, a looooooong while, the phone rings. I go into the other room and answer the phone. It was Kate calling the room from her cell phone in the downstairs study lounge to ask me to get her when Luke left. I tried to tell her to come back, but she was too embarrassed. It was absolutely hilarious. So I go back and listen to Luke for another hour or so when Kate called back. She called the room about three times altogether when I finally went to where she was to keep her company for a little while (Luke, by the way, was still talking). I finally convinced her to go back to the room where we put bandaids over her wound and told the other two about the cutting of Kate's finger. Luke left at around midnight and we all just laughed for nearly ten minutes about the whole thing. So much fun. *sunday* I went to mass, ate breakfast, washed my clothes, went to the Capp Bar with Kate, started my psychology, played dominoes with Kate, went to dinner, and that's about it. This weekend was so wonderful. I love life right now.
