Today was one of the best days of my life. 1. As I type, I'm listening to demo tapes from 1994, 1995, and 1999 for 3eb, and it's SO awesome. I lovelovelove this band. I downloaded them this morning from the UK 3e site--all the demos they made for Elektra. Beautiful. 2a. I got a package from my mommy and daddy today. They told me they were going to send it, but I was still really happy to get it. They made beef jerkey this past weekend and sent some to me. It's sooooooooo good. I love the beef jerkey they make because it's so tangy and I know it's not all preserved and nasty. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, so good. 2b. I got a package from Aaron's mommy today. I definitely didn't know about this one. She sent me Oreos, Pringles, some lotion, a calandar, some little decorated notepads, some hair thingies, some other random things, and a $20 Wal-Mart gift card. I absolutely love this woman. She's the best ever, second only to my own loving mommy. I feel so loved. 2c. I LOVE getting mail!!!! 3. Aaron brought over my phone last night, so I got to look cool and hip walking around campus with it. It's old school Nokia with the little flip thing on the bottom, but it works and that's all that matters. Aaron's mommy called last night to see if it worked and we had a little chit-chat. It's so great. I feel much safer now when I'm driving because I know I always have a way to call my roommates or Aaron or someone who'll be able to help me if I break down. It's very nice. 4. I brought Ashley and Mektor to the bank to do money business and to Target for unnecessary items. I bought a pair of shoes (SO awesome) and they bought random other items. When I got back home I opened the box and found, along with the shoes, a little thing of Maybelline loose powder eyeshadow at the bottom. I didn't know it was in there because I had the box closed while we were walking through the store. I stole something from Target and got away from it, even though I didn't know it. It has been a good day.
