Word of the Day: gargoyle
The cutest UPS man of all time. Evah.
We had gone to JD's office so everyone there could see his cuteness, and they gave him candy. He was taking inventory.
JD and Patrick.
We went to the mall to trick or treat. Most of the stores have someone in front of the store giving out candy. Patrick was a big hit with everyone. Some old ladies even had us stop so they could take his picture. And, like the little ham he is, he kindly obliged. By the time we were done [it took us about an hour], his little box was about two-thirds of the way full.
See?
There were a lot of cute costumes. There were two siblings, one girl, around 10, was Batman, while her baby brother, around 1, was Robin [Teen Titans Robin, too, not even Batman's Robin]. There were two brothers or cousins who were Mario and Luigi. There was someone walking around as uber-awesome V, with the knives in the belt and everything [and stiletto boots, as well]. I got a kick out of everyone and all the kids in costumes. Patrick had fun, too, because everyone kept telling him how cute he was, and he loves nothing better.
In a few hours, I'll start writing for NaNoWriMo. I'm really excited since I have a plan this year, but it's going to be much harder to find time to write. I don't think I'll be able to get up early every morning like last year since I'm working late at night and I need my sleep [I can't compensate by going to sleep earlier], and I'm home all day with a needy and whiney two and a half year old. I'm pretty much limited to writing between 9ish and noonish, during Playhouse Disney and Scooby-Doo, because he doesn't bother me too much between. I'll make due somehow--if I did it last year without a plan, I can definitely do it this year.
I can.
