Word of the Day:
senescence
I verily dislike spring break now that I'm not in school. I don't think elementary/junior high kids should have spring break if all they're going to do is wreak havoc with their neighbors at all hours. Little hoodlums.
I'm so very tired. I'm tired of taking care of Patrick. I want someone to take care of me. I've had a headache for a couple of days now, and I desperately need a night of uninterrupted sleep. Even when JD takes care of Patrick late at night because I'm sleeping, I still wake up and can't go back to sleep. Of course, sleep won't solve all of this. I'm restless. I feel so tied down. I feel like I can't go anywhere because it takes too much effort to get myself ready and Patrick ready [and happy], and go. Not that I can think of things to do with a baby in Victoria other than going to the mall or Wal-Mart or Target and shopping [where people are apt to harass me--'Oh, he's such a cute baby!' 'Oh, he's so small!' 'Oh, how old is he?!' 'Oh, let me tell you about me/my daughter/my friends and my/her/their baby.'] I could go to the park and sit, but I never know when it's going to rain and I don't think Patrick's eyes are ready for full sunlight, even with shade. I opened the front door this morning and stood in the shade with Patrick, and he held his eyes quite shut and made an awful face. Negatory.
I miss JD. I wish he didn't have to work so very much. I also wish he didn't sleep as much.
When I went to pick up my uniform from the hotel, Teresa told me we were getting reinspected. Apparently, if we didn't pass the service scores for December/January/February, corperate was going to send it's own inspectors who were going to determine the fate of the franchise. And, so, they came Monday night. I don't know what happened, I haven't talked to anyone at work since then. I also don't know what's going to happen either way, if they passed us or failed us. I think if they passed us, we have another chance at getting our service scores up. If they failed us, I have no freaking idea.
I want it all.
PS--I totally called the new Garbage song before JD. This was a couple of weeks ago, but I'm proud and must document the event.
*the next day*
This cheers me up.
English Genius You scored 100% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 81% Advanced, and 88% Expert! |
You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

I can only imagine how much tiredness and stress you sometimes feel. But you are a great mother, and more importantly, a great person. Hang in there. We love you.

Sorry, but I was surfing SitD looking for a diary that had that thing on the bottom where you can write something where Done is supposed to be.
And I was just wondering if you could give me the code for it? I have been looking for where to find it and I can't find a website that has it.
I will really appreciate it if you give it to me.
Thanks,
Catherine
