Word of the Day: burke
I love the first cold front of the year. Lovelovelove. It's in the fifties at the moment [at seven am], and will be in the seventies for the high. Lovelovelovelovelove. Bring on the fall, bring on the most beautiful of seasons, winter. And please hurry, I'm sweating from excitement.

All day I had the feeling that I was missing something. Then I realized, as I walked to Eleanor after work, that I missed the feeling of the wind on my face, of that chill on my neck, of tweed, of tea tumbling down my throat. All those things and more make me so happy.
It wasn't until today that I realized our office doesn't have windows. That's such a crime. It's okay if classrooms and the like don't have windows, but if you're going to be in a place for nearly eight hours a day, there ought to be a window or two, especially when it's beautiful like it was today, all cloudy and gray.
I wish it would stay like this all year. Forever.
