Word of the Day: kipper I forgot to mention a lot of things in my last entry. 1. The key machine at work [finally] died on Tuesday morning. I knew it was going to, but I hoped and hoped that it wouldn't while I was there. Though I'm sort of glad I was there for it because I knew exactly what was going on. I hate nothing worse at work than walking into a situation I know completely nothing about. Needless to say, we've been eking our way through all this by making keys directly from the door locks. Problem with this--someone needs to walk with a master key to the door and actually make the key from the door lock. For some reason, we only have one programmed master key. What? Yeah. And I even told Jeff two months ago that the machine wouldn't last the summer. Who didn't listen to me? That's right, no one. Any road, it's been difficult in the past few days but, thankfully, the new key machine came in today. As I was leaving, Adrian and Lupe were trying to figure out how to program the damned thing. 2. I was attacked by a monsterous, flesh-eating insect of some kind. Perhaps it was neither monsterous or flesh-eating, but I have at least ten scabs where the thing had bitten me on my right thigh. I didn't even notice anything strange for a day or so until I realized that my leg itched more than normal. I looked at my thigh to see bright bright red raised bumps in a diagonal line. And they hurt whenever anything touched them. So now they've scabbed over and are itchy as itchy can be and still hurts sometimes. Especially when Patrick kicks my thigh. What else was I going to talk about? Oh yeah-- 3. SciFi Fridayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! Not only are they starting the new seasons of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica, they started the whole entire Stargate SG-1 series over yesterday in syndication. Yesssss.
