Word of the Day: officinal
Patrick at eleven months
I don't know what he's looking at.
And then all of a sudden he stood up and started trying to walk over me.
Come to think of it, he might have been going after his dumptruck walker thing. Whatever the case, he ran me over on the way.
He went with me on my walk [more on that later], in his little stroller.
And afterwards we shared a bagel and some water [from a cup!].
I think this is the stupidest picture of me ever, but Patrick looks cute so I'll have to sacrifice my vanity [pft].
He fell asleep about ten or fifteen minutes after I took this picture. Aw, he looks so sleepy.
So we went to the dentist today. They didn't do anything other than look at Patrick's mouth [I don't even think they put any fingers in there or anything], but I mainly wanted to bring him with me to show him there's nothing to be afraid of at the dentist. A small boost to that was that we met Mr. Hamilton in the waiting room, who tsk'ed and chatted with Patrick for a minute or so. I, however, immencely enjoyed the experience, as per usual.
As I mentioned before, I've started walking and I want it to be for real. JD, Patrick, and I took a walk yesterday, and Patrick and I walked today. We'll see, we'll see.
So this Sheryl lady at work, the jury's still out on her. She fired Cyndi about a week ago, to which I'm indifferent, and she hired some lady named Donna to replace her, who starts Wednesday. They're shorthanded at the desk, which means that Yadida and I are on the schedule until they find another auditor, and who knows how long that will be. I might find myself another job by then, one where I have one position and not half something, half another thing. I'm getting really sick of that crap, having to worry about my schedule. They called me Saturday and asked me to work Saturday 3-11, and I called back and said, 'I told Monica that I can't work Saturdays because I don't have anyone to watch Patrick, so don't call me.' I didn't say don't call me, but I wish I would have. I was at my mother's helping her clean my room [my dad was out of town, the sneaky witch], and I was mad. One of the main reasons I wanted to work in accounting was to get weekends off to be with Patrick and JD, and now because they're too stupid to hire people at the desk when they know they're going to be shorthanded, Yadida and I have to pick up the slack. Although I don't know why either of us would have to work during the weekend, seeing as both of us have little babehs. But all I'll do is complain on my sitD and be nasty to people when I have to work the desk, which is tomorrow and Thursday.
Kim came and visited us last week. It was so good to see her. She knitted Patrick a scarf which he likes. It was kind of not cool because she came during the week and JD and I both worked most of the time and weren't able to spend a lot of time with her, but she got to play with Patrick and she gave me some UD gossip. It hurt a little to see her, but I got over it. I'm able to get over the hurt I get when I think of school faster and faster as time passes. There'll always be that pinch, but most of it's thankfully gone away.
I think that's all I wanted to talk about. I need to update more often, I hate these huge long entries where I forget what I'm talking about.
hey, sorry for pinching you. it was really great to see you though.
you look fantastic in that first picture, I don't know what you are talking about.
Patrick is such a GOOF!!
