Listening to: Gwen Stefani- Hollanback Girl
Feeling: drowsy
So, I didn't go to school today. I was really tired. I'm always tired now. My strept is supposed to me gone and I've already finished my pennicillan* and my tonsils are as big as golf balls. So I had a fever but it was one of those "Feels hot like a fever but it actually lower than normal temperature" fevers. At the hospital, I got two pretty bracelets. A blue one and a green one :-D
The one thing I really want to find out what i have is mono. They say that might be it. "The Kissing Disease." Haha, yea, well. The symptoms for mono are swollen tonsils (check) drowsiness (check) sore throat (check) but they also said something about the spleen adn that mono raises risks for some kind of spleen thingy. It's a good thing I didn't go to school today though we had a field trip that I payed 8 bucks for!
Well, to check for mono they had to draw my blood. It was my first time getting my blood drawn adn I was acting all weird. I was also getting annoyed by the sink. It kept dripping just like they do in the cartoons and at some points the sound sounded magnified (also like on the cartoons). So the person came in and drwe the blood. Mom held my hand (more like I held hers) but it wasn't that bad. It felt a like a big hungry mosquito bit me for like 3 seconds and it hurt a bit. But then I looked over and saw my blood gouing through a small tube into a tiny bottle. Yuk, I thought it looked really gross. They drew a lot of blood. I've never seen my blood bottled before. Hey, there's a first time for anything.
