Listening to: The Deaf Ear
Feeling: joyful
So tonight was the Winter Courts Carnival. I went at 6:30 to help set up the band booth, which was a fun chore all in itself. So we get all set up and sit down to sell the candy and drinks- yay. Adam comes over to join us and for some reason he's been a lot more flirty towards me in public now than he has in the past, so I don't know what's up with that. It was freezing outside (well, compared to what it's normally like) so we all cuddled together (or rather, Adam and I cuddled together and everyone else shivered and drank hot chocolate). We had a lot of sales though, which was awesome cause it means more money for band! The bands playing were pretty good, except for this one band which was horrible that people left. The Deaf Ear was last, which sucked because the crowd had totally died by then and they're a damned good band. At the booth, a bunch of us played Janga (re-named "Oh shit") with boxes of candy. It was a pretty damn impressive game, too. We ARE the Oh Shit masters! Anyways, afterwards I hung around and helped clean up a bit, only because I was waiting to hear word from Adam to know if we were going out or not. The ending verdict was "tomorrow night" so I shrugged and came home.
Anyway today was another pretty good day. Messed around with Charlie a bit more (never play Janga with Charlie- and also don't pick a fight with him because he's a wrestler and a good tickler). Was in good company with Stevie, and only felt the urge to stab N once today. Reason: In class she turns to me and sings "(Carrie) is a loser and she's too afraid to admit it". That hurt. I didn't know quite what she meant by it, or if she meant anything by it at all, but it still didn't make up for the fact that I wanted to slam her face into a wall. She's still not talking to me- about anything. Probobly because she's beginning to realize that I don't approve of practically anything that she does. But then again, what the hell does that matter?
PS- I got another journal (an absolutely private one on my laptop) so, in the future, my personal stuff will go there and other random junk will go here, savvy?
That is all.
Carrie
