Listening to: The Hours
Homecoming was a clean sweep of happiness all around. The game was fantastic; we creamed AJ and wouldn't you know it, two band kids were voted as king and queen; my best pal, Amy, and her boyfriend whom I've known since pre-school, Justin! AND, our amazing "Marching through a starry night" banner won first place in the banner contest!Good thing too, or we would have had a fit; that banner is sooo amazing! And the band performed an awesome show. I even got my mom in the stands with a flute to play with some other ex-band parents. Big success, all of it.
Saturday night the girls came around around 5:30ish. Took us forever to get ready and take pictures and then we drove to Justin's house for the boys big surprise. They had cooked us dinner and set up two tables all nice with sparkling cider and the whole bit. It was soo sweet and the food was awesome! I thought that was such a better idea than going out to eat; they all did an awesome job. I think all the girls were very impressed. After lots more pictures, we finally made it to the dance, where homecoming kind of went down hill. The location wasn't the greatest and the DJ was downright awful, but we still managed to have a good time. Danced, took pictures, the whole bit, then went to Paul's house to crash for the night. All in all, I have to say I had a great time and my date was tres chaude!!
Today we got some info for graduation; order forms for cap and gown and the whole nine yards. I got a free tassel ^.^ and hey, wow, do you believe it seniors? Yeah, we're graduating...in like...six months...scarey.
I finally got around to talking to Mrs. Howell about SNAPS, so I'll finally get that thing in motion (I've only wanted to do it for about three years now...) SO, productive day.
