WOW. My last entry is ancient, or at least seems ancient in perspective. I just got back from California today and, to sum it up in one word, wow. The trip was phenomonal. Ashley and I had a fantastic time--got to go off on our own a lot--went down town for some awesome bargain shopping, went to Mission Beach (Dev, totally thought of you) and rode the roller coaster (horrible, but fun just the same), and whilst waiting to meet football Jo (Yeah, he was in the area too, ironic?) we met Chris and Ryan, from Mesa. I can't go into all the details of the trip because that would take forever, but here's the sum-up. -Getting stranded on the jet ski in the middle of no where for 30 min. with Chris and then being thouroughly impressed with his heroic moment of pulling us aboard the sailboat that came to save us. -Sugar Daddy -Walt picking on Amy -Amy "Sweetie" "How cute" "It was before your time" "Babies" -Aubrey "What am I?!" "I want JACKIE to sit next to me!" -Chris, "Aubrey, do you have to go to the bathroom?" Aubrey, "I already did." (in the bed) -Fireworks RIGHT above us -walking the beach -Ice cream! -The horrible mexican/seafood/hole-in-the-wall restaurant -Matt and Melissa's loft (amazing!) -Riding the Ferry -Giving the flower to the hot ferry guy -trying to find downtown whilst being there -the woman who lectured us about wearing jackets at night and then jabbed her finger at a car wanting to go right as we crossed the street -SNAPS -my cowboy hat ^.^ -bumper cars -The Real Estate Mofia -Ashley forgetting to put suntan lotion on the back of her legs and then proceeded to fry -"Psst. Psssst! Psssst!" -"Stop touching me." -"You girls have enough money? Here, take this, just in case." -Crazy cabs Aw man, so much goodness. I didn't want to leave. But alas, I have returned. For now. Tomorrow I'll have school and work and all that boring real life crap, but I'm holding on to today, remembering that not so long ago I woke up in a condo right off the beach with goosebumps. Carrie
