It's almost 6pm, but it sure doesn't feel like it. I'm sitting in my girl cave, although Kris says I'm not aloud to call it that. The house is empty (other than my self, obviously), though this isn't a rare thing. Most times when I come home from class or running errands I return to find everyone gone. I know it the moment I open the garage. If the cars are there, the bikes are gone. If the bikes are there, the cars are gone. Rarely are all of us here at once and that's usually just at night.
We all eat on our time. We don't crowd any one room. Kris is usually in the den, Dina in her room, Travis kind of wanders from his room to wherever Kris is at, and lately this little cavern of the house has become my sanctuary.
What do you know, the garage door is opening...
It's Dina!
On a side note, today was a really happy day for me because I went into Wetseal this morning to have my first shopping experience with my employee discount. I got TONS of stuff; over $200 worth of merchandise for $130. I haven't been able to go major clothes shopping in so long and I desperately needed a new pair of jeans and I found a pair that are so adorable and they fit me perfectly! Girls will understand my sublime jubilation. Shopping for jeans is horrific. But today was a very pleasant, very fun experience. It makes me excited to be a sales associate there because I actually believe in what we're selling. I'm not convincing girls they look great in clothes that don't flatter that I know won't last or aren't comfortable.
Bottom line: I'm ecstatic to have new clothes in my closet. I usually don't care too much to be wearing the latest trends or anything, in fact half of my closet consists of hand-me-downs from my sister and the bottoms of all my jeans are stained and frayed. Maybe that's why I'm so happy. Clothes I picked out and paid for and they sure do flatter. : D
