Listening to: Edwin McCain
Feeling: amazing
Featured above is this years' band seniors. Pretty good looking bunch, wouldn't you say? It's an awesome group and, thus far, we seem to be inseperable...(well, most of us).
Ok, I know you all don't want to know about all the details of how things are with Kris, and, to tell you the truth, I wouldn't feel right mentioning it here, so I'll keep it simple and say that things are going wonderfully and that two days never felt so long.
I've decided that band people live on a different time zone. Some of us eat lunch at 8 in the morning, some nap in the afternoon, and others stay up much later than they ought to and then wake up much earlier than should be allowed.
Kim gave me some poems as her going-away gift. Got to reading some of them today and was completely blown away. I know I've bragged about her in the past, but this girl is absolutely amazing. She makes Emily Dickensen look like an amateur. I'm going to miss that girl. Good luck Kim!
Anxious to pick up my pictures; got two roles, one of band camp and another miscelanious. I've still got film in my 35mm and, if I'm lucky, I'll find someone(s) kind enough to let me photograph them. There are a number of things that I forever enjoy and am always in the mood for:
1. Taking pictures
2. Painting
3. Cuddling
4. Writing
And I guess that's it.
Inspired by Kim, I'm attempting to plunge back into the world of poetry. It's been a long time since I've been there so I'm expecting lots of rust. I'll keep you updated on progress.
That's all the randomness for now--feels good to get that all off my chest. Thanks for listening.
