Yesterday we said we would travel; move ourselves. We declared that we would see great things and accomplish fantastic feats. Yesterday, we looked back on the day before and said, "We can do this better." Tomorrow we'll be great, unbeatable, indestructable; tomorrow we're going to be the best.
That was yesterday. And now, at the end of today, edging to tomorrow, I ask you to pause and answer yourself honestly; "Are we there yet?"
Are we even close to anything? What's holding us back? Is it school, work, friends, us? If "some day" we're going to be great, why can't it be today? Haven't we been working for perfection for 16, 17, 18 some-odd years? Why do they still think this is only rehearsal? Why do they still call it late in the season? Nevermind numbers, how long does it FEEL? Like, ages, right? So, with all this TIME, why aren't we GREAT yet? Why aren't we close yet? Why aren't we THERE yet?
