It was a good birthday weekend (I actually woke up forgetting today was my birthday because it felt like it had already happened). Saturday the whole family went to taste-testing for the wedding. Very good food...and really filling. Not your typical "rubber chicken, rubber steak". Mom and I did tons of shopping (mostly for wedding stuff) and then that night (at a very late dinner) Kristofer caught up with us for a fabulous dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Chicken picatta....mmmmmm...*licks lips*. Anyway, Jackie and Tim got me a DVD/VHS player. It's a bit too big to fit in the dorm so I don't know if I am going to be able to use it or not, but we'll see. Mom got me a beautiful bracelette to wear for the wedding, it's really gorgeous. Kristofer gave me beautiful roses, which are now hanging in my dorm. : ) Anyway, it was a good night. Next day we went to Church, had lunch at Paradise (yummy soup bowl!) with the whole Miller/Williams crowd (Kroy chopped his hair off!!) and eventually went to get pedacures and bought some movies. My grandmpa spend the evening with us so we had a delicious steak dinner (are you seeing the pattern of food here???). Hung out for a bit and then Kristofer had to go home. : ( And I went back to the dorm... So that was my weekend. Not too shabby. And now today is my birthday, though it doesn't feel any different.
