I've been picking at the new novel for a while now, adding in tidbits and here and there for future progress. Tonight I added a couple pages of goodness, inspired by some fellows I know.
Steve, Jason is doing wonderfully. I took your advice (about his role?) and it's working beautifully. And, wouldn't you know it, I gave Jason some guts. ~.^
The great thing about Dandy is, I can write it whenever I want, picking up wherever I want, and putting in whatever I want. I wrote in a couple key sections tonight and it wasn't until I had them both complete when I realized the irony and symbolism I had created. It's always cool when you can do that without meaning to or realizing you're doing it.
Yesterday I registered from this scholarship finder thing. I realized that, as much as I love it, writing may not be my ultimate career. I'm looking into a few other things and, freshmen year, I'll just dable into it all and see what suits me best. Writing is what I do, it doesn't have to be who I am. I don't plan on getting rich no matter what i do, but I do want some money to do all this traveling I've been planning all these years.
In other and completely irrevelent news, Stalker Sam asked me to prom today. Well, he didn't really ask me. he put a note in my locker signed "Your Secret Admirer" and that I would be recieving clues all week. I don't know what to do. I mean, he's a nice guy, but a little on the creepy side. The guys at lunch said they'd write up a bunch of notes to put in my locker and then wear flowers on Monday (the note said that he would wear a flower on Monday if I hadn't figured it out by then). It's a funny idea, but I think I'll just talk to him. Prom. What a pain the neck. I'm looking forward to it, I just wish I had a real date. Last prom I went with Jolly. Heh, that was fun. But still, it would be nice to have a real date, not just a friend. Ah well.
Oh, and Steve, as much as you hate these things, you better go to prom.
Stressful week to follow. I had orchestra practice today after school (which was lousy). Then ran to softball practice (which was lousy) and missed out on the marching band photo shoot dealy; advertisment for some new PA system. They take our picture and we get the system for free. Pretty awesome. I leave Friday for the orchestra trip, which means I have to smother these creative juices and get back to priorities; research paper, research paper, research paper. -.-

You wanna play the quoting game? bring it on. I can think of only one way you could assuredly make me go. And that one...well....we will see.
Where would my grammar be without you?
My english teacher thanks you.
