Lots of Cotillion stuff happening with the ball only three weeks away. Went to Joanne's for supplies and as I walked through the door, noticed a "Now Hiring" sign on the window, so I applied. I've never done retail before and it seems like a pretty good job, so I'm hoping for it.
My group had a formal dinner last night, themed Masquerade. It was really, really nice. Everything looked beautiful and the food was delish! I love my group this quarter. All the girls are pretty out-going and fun-loving. They aren't the stereotype snobs.
School is really tough right now. I don't think I've been slacking or anything, all my classes just all of a sudden got...hard. I'll be dragging my ass across the finish line of this textbook marathon.
Everything else is going okay right now. I mean, there's pressure everywhere, but I've been doing my best to keep a cool head about it and just take care of things one step at a time. Tonight is a major concert that we aren't exactly prepared for. I'm doing handbells, wind ensemble, flute choir, and Kris and I are dancing to a jazz band piece. So, I hope everything goes well tonight.
Hope all is well and right with the world in other places. Au revoir.
Carrie
