Jackie's bachelorette bash was fantastic! I had such a good weekend! Friday, Jackie and Shannon met my mom for lunch with a surprise in tow...behind my mother was Kristen, my sister's best friend from childhood. She was so suprised and so happy she cried! I thought that was so awesome and so perfect. She even said to me that seeing Kristen just set the weekend off to a great start. So that afternoon we arrived at the resort, hung out by the cabana, swam in the pool, and relaxed in the spa. Then we got all spiffied up and went to a really nice dinner and had excellent creme bru le (sp?). Then we went back to Jackie's suite and sat out on the patio and talked and drank cocktails till late. A mean neighbor complained we were being too noisy, which began a huge joke and resulted in him being booted out of the resort. Loooong story. Anyways, the next day we had lenguere brunch--Jaxx seemed to really like the Bridal Basket, so that was cool. (and of course the ja-ja panties!! Woo!)We spent pretty much the whole day by the pool, tanning and drinking more cocktails. (yes, even me; surprised?) A few of the girls went to spa, two crazy ones worked out, a pair of new friends went shopping, and the rest of us soaked up the last bit of sunshine. Then it was off to get glam! All dressed up and lookin' sizzlin', we did photoshoot and then piled into the enormous party limo! Had another fabulous dinner at Ocean Club, more drinks, and then went to the clubs! There was concern if I was going to be able to get in, but our cruise director, Shannon, knows how to work the situation and we all strut in without being carded. So we danced and we drank and peed a lot and danced some more and we all made it till 2 am when the lights came on. The funniest part of it was that one of Jackie's friends that was with us is a cop. So here I was, underage, sneaking into a club and drinking, throwing pop rocks with a cop! It was hilarious and SO much fun! Nothing like Buzz at all (I don't think I can ever go back to Buzz now....so lame lol). We go back to the resort, have a 2:30 buffet and stuff our faces all over again and laughed some more. I was so full of energy I couldn't believe how fast the time had gone. Everyone crashed and I forced my self to sleep.
It really was a fabulous weekend. Shannon did such an incredible job planning it out and making all the reservations and everything, it was just perfect. And everyone got along and had a blast!
