Choose and Accept

Learned an important lesson today: It is necessary to sometimes choose between priority and priority; the catch is to pick the right one. Also, you can't always fight to win, sometimes you just have to accept what's given and make the best of it. The day wasn't bad. My photojournalism class is wicked hard (photoshop is a biotch to work in) but Ms. Hanley loves me, so I still have an A (I also work hard, so yeah). I won't discuss the crucible except to say that I got a costume today and it's perfect for my character, so I was pleased. On top of which, T pulled me aside after rehearsal to thank me for all the work I've put in. He said I've really stepped up and helped out a lot and such and he's putting me in the program as an assistant director or something, at which I was entirely amazed. This play has turned me around completely from the beginning--I started off pissed off and not caring, ended very dedicated and caring very much. If there is one thing I know for sure it's this: I am both terrified and incredibly excited for opening night. The theatre has been so cold for so long, I can't wait to be sweating under those lights. On a closing note, I'd like to say that the choir concert was exceptional, as usual, and furthermore, mon Kristofer, you blow me away with that bass of yours. Once again, I tell you you were awesome. PS- How many times have you stuck a quarter in a giant gum ball machine, hoping for the pink one and ending up with anything but? Remember the time you finally did get the pink gum ball? (think on that, and take it out of text, too) Night everyone, hope you're managing to get sleep, food, and stay on top of school work this week... Carrie
