Yesterday went so well! And we've now qualified to go to state! For the last time in our high school career, the class of 05 gets the honor of marching at state! At this point, nothing would make me happier than to march off that field with a superior rating. All it takes now is individual performance and a lot of cooperation and coming together from the band. Everyone needs to put their egos and self-interest aside and work as a whole. For this next week, it's all about the band. After a performance like Saturday, I know we can push ourselves even more. These freshmen need to know what it feels like, and the seniors need to remember what it feels like to have that, that awesome rating and extreme amount of pride.
