Through some of the very loooong drive, I sat quiet and brainstormed for the book I had started before I left. Yeild has now been changed to Just Dandy, a pun off the main character's name, Dandelion. Weird, eh? Her parents were hippies. Anyway, I've spent some of the day today preparing for the work: background of story and chars, summary, outline, general things to keep me focused. I like this one though. It's different from my other works and more on the realistic side, which is what I was shooting for. Weather is funny in AZ. It's like the whole state is on an AC unit. One day we're frozen, the next day we're sweating. Today is absolutely beautiful. Windows are open and I can wear next to nothing (or nothing, if I'm feeling confident- which I never am)and be perfectly comfortable. Went to the pool and ate potato salad; the habits of spring. : D I'm trying hard not to let anything get to me today. Putting off all the "must-dos" for another day.
