Inbetween classes and studying, I had a lot of time today to be creative. I did a lot of writing, revising, and tonight I even did some shooting.
I was working on my query letter and realized I've been stuck on trying to give a synapsis of Thread and as I tried to sum-up what it was about, I realized that the dialogue in the play wasn't saying enough. So I opened that up and did a little bit of editing, I know I'll be doing more still to come.
Wrote more for Cameo and Larivant as well. The end of the world is nearing and tensions are getting high between the pair. I came a block though--the plot was thickening too fast for the characters. Did I begin the novel in the middle? I'm debating if I want to write a new beginning, starting with their marriage and building from there so that the process of the dying world is shown more. I think that will give me more wiggle room for character developement and a bit of cheer in an otherwise gloomy story.
After CV I asked Alex and Josh if they wanted to grab some dinner. They did and before we took off to the MU, I asked them if it would be worth it to me to bring my camera. "Yeah" they said. So I did and they were quick to begin posing. That's the interesting thing about males and females; both sexes might not mind their picture being taken, but you can bet that the females will be way more concerned about how the photos are coming out. Alex and Josh, on the other hand, just frolicked around so much and so fast I could hardly keep up. I posted them on my Facebook, 'case you're interested. :)
Here's hopin' for more creative days!
