In once piece and with minor scrapes and bruises, I'm home again and in case you are unware I ever left, I inform you now that I went to Flagstaff for a ski trip that turned out pretty grand. What was supposed to be a huge group thing turned out to be just Kris and I, briefly meeting up with Justin and Amy, but mainly just the two of us. It was a lot of fun and pretty damned cold, but that's ok. It was awesome to see snow again; on the ground and from the sky. Turns out, I'm not as horrible as a snow boarder as I thought I was, though I prefer the wider bunny-like hills where I can go down in circles, rather than narrow runs with steep slopes. I'm more play than speed, ya know? It's kind of funny though that we felt such great triumph in coming off a ski lift without landing on our arses. Well, it was a really great trip. And the only reason I'm beat up is because of Justin. > P
I don't think I'll be around much the rest of this week and into next. Kris' sister's wedding is on Thursday and I'm house-sitting for Jackie and Tim for the rest of the week and then next week is school and you all know how that goes...
Hope everyone is having as awesome of a break as I am. : )
PS- If you're looking for a good movie to see, I don't recommend A Series of Unfortunate Events. As far as my movie-party was concerned, the most unfortunate event was our spending money to see the damned thing. On the other hand, Nation Treasure wasn't too bad, especially if you're into American History.
