Listening to: Thoughtless - Evanescence
Feeling: gothic
(I hated my last one. So, here is a new one. This is all I want to do...)
She ran. Her blonde hair fell in front of her blue eyes, hiding her tears. She ran onto a path in some woods. The branched ripped at her arms, scratching them. She didn't care. Nothing mattered except running. Running from everything she knew. Nothing was right. Everything had died when her mother died. She had been sent from her friends back to her old life. She hated this life more than the last.
She ran. Then she stopped when she came to a bridge. There was a ravine below her. Nothing was right. She felt nothing but anger and fear. But fear had taken her more than hate.
'Jump,' said a voice in her head.
The sun was setting. She knew that someone would be looking for her.
'Just one last minute of pain.'
'What if I survive?' she asked.
'There are other ways to die,' the voice replied.
She sighed. The wooden railing was the only thing keeping her back. Just a thin railing that she could easily get over. Still, there was something keeping her back. Something that made her want to live.
'Jump,' the voice said again.
"No."
'Jump. What do you have to live for?'
"No!" she yelled.
"Kari!"
She turned. Two arms rapped themselves around her. She was being dragged away from the bridge.
"Kari, what were you thinking?"
Kari looked up. The boy was looking at her with concern. She pulled away from him.
"I don't need your help, Evan. I don't need you to save me."
He looked at her. There were tears forming in his green eyes. Kari turned away. She walked out of the path and to a car. She turned down the guy she loved. She turned him down. Kari turned. He looked at her, then turned away.
"Are you going to take me home?" she asked.
"Yeah, sure," he whispered.
Kari's heart feel. It broke into pieces, shattering. It took all of her strenght to not run to him and jump into his arms. Kari wanted nothing more than to be with him. Evan was the one to be there when she needed him, even if he was two hours away.
"Let's go," he said standing by the car.
Kari got in. She held back the tears. She held back her emotions. Now, she would be hollow. Nothing but hollow. Until she finally found her sweet suicide.
