I read shit last night about WAtF haters. This one person made me laugh hysterically. Basically, she tried to bash the fuck out of Carly Smithson and I wanted to just slap the person silly. I took choir for years. I was in musicals. My mother is a singing nazi. I fucking know the difference between someone who sings through their nose and who uses their cheeks. Carly is not a nose singer. She made it to top 10 in American Idol. If she sang through her nose, she wouldn't have made it that far. I watched her sing. She uses her cheeks. Carly has a very rock-like voice compared to Amy Lee. Amy sounds much better with a piano and strings. She doesn't really have a rock voice.

Now, don't get me wrong. I adore Amy Lee. She's one of my musical idols. But, she's a complete bitch. If things don't go her way, she throws a fit and fires ppl. I don't give a fuck about that. I'm a fan. I care about the music. So what if Amy and Ben Moody are being dumb asses?! I am a fan of the music. The Evanescence I fell in love with is no more. I have it split between two bands and I love both. I'm not going to sit around and pick a side. It's music. It should be about the fans, not how you feel as an artist.
