Saturdays

Well I'm not sure how I feel right now. Sad, happy, tired, hungry, etc. It all feels the same. I'm on my 5th day of fasting. I actually feel better than ever. Fasting causes a high in the brain. But, fortunately by Tuesday I'll be eating again. Only this time healthier. I'm not going to end up being one of those 500 lbs women you see on television who can't even get out of their bed. No, not me. I watched a really horrible movie last night, Darkness Falls. A ridiculous story about, of all things, a killer toothfairy. I'm sorry. I tried with all my might to get focused on the whole idea and I even tried to be a little afraid but really now, the toothfairy? Yes, very bad movie. The Ring has been the best horror movie I've seen in awhile, Darkness Falls didn't even come close. Anyways, enough with my movie reviews. I have studying to do for 4 finals. They're all on Wednesday. My lucky day. I also have a 10 page paper to write before Monday. Oh, procrastination my foe. STORY TIME ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Slowly, he opened his eyes. His head was pounding like crazy. He didn't remember fallign asleep. With hesitation he sat up rubbing his head. He glanced around quickly. He didn't know where he was, but this sure wasn't his livingroom at home. Quickly, he jumped to his feet. The room was dark and there was a certain distinct musty odor in the air. He could barely make out the pattern of stone along the walls. Above his head he could see a small diamond shaped window. He heart began to beat fast. He was panicking. His asthma would kick in any minute if he didn't calm down. To his ears rose a faint sound, a whisper. "Over here young one, over here," the whisper said. Quickly he turned around, before him stood the smallest man he had ever seen. The man, dressed in a small green robe and top hat, smiled at him. "There is no need to panic young one, I will not harm you. Come closer," said the small man. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He couldn't believe his eyes. The sky was a brilliant purple, with the sun showing like a light blue orbe in the sky. The grass even shined an unusual greenish color. He knew he was dreaming now. No world like this existed, not for real. The trees had no leaves, but instead had gold and silver chimes. The dirt underneath his feet felt like and was the color of deep red velvet. He knew for sure that this had to be another one of his strange dreams. A breeze blew and he listened as the tree chimes chimed a soft relaxing melody, a tune he knew from somewhere but could not name. "Our world," said the small man, "is far different from yours. All this you see before you, you in some way have created. All those from your world have had some small part in adding to ours." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Done for now.
