7:41 Friday Evening   Baby Teeth have Stem Cells I promise not to be sad. I had an interesting conversation at breakkie this morning. It was rainy and windy in Akaroa. the water was choppy. We didn't swim with the dolphins, slightly disappointing. But I suppose there will be other opportunities. We had morning tea in a little restaurant, Shyrl, Chelsea, Mum and Dad, and I. Public. Mum and Dad were discussing throwing Chelsea and I out of the house Sunday night for Paul and Paul's friend to stay at our house, one could take my room and the other could take chelsea's. It was easy to pick where they'd send Chelsea to, Shawnie's. I half-jokingly suggested I go sleep at Caleb's. Mum immediately said, "No." Dad said, "Why not?" "They weren't even supposed to sleep in the living room together last weekend," she replied (giving me a pointed look). "I don't want you doing anything." "If they were going to do anything, they'd do it regardless," said Dad. "We're NOT doing anything!" I protested, embarrassedly. "You better not be!" Mum said. I buried my face in my hands. I wanted to say "We're not sexually active! We don't even WANT to be!" but all I said was, "I WON'T." To which Dad said "poor Caleb." Mum glared at him and I buried my face further into my hands and Dad said, "What! I just still know what it's like to be a teenage boy!" So Dad wouldn't really care if I had sex, as long as I used protection but mum would freak out and hate me forever. *rolls eyes* They are such a weird couple. It's not that I'm against pre-marital hanky-panky. It's just that avoiding it is easier than buying condoms or getting birth control, plus it's risk-free. I'm not huge on taking risks. Besides, I think it would be cool if I could honestly tell my future husband that I waited for the right man, and he was it. Should I get married. If not, well, i'll say 25 is the cutoff date, depending on circumstances.
