I am thinking of your voice
They keep telling me that chivalry is dead,
bitterly with sadness writ upon their brow.
my face lights up with glee; Thank heavens, finally! Chivalry is merely another form of chauvinism!
now, were they to say politeness is dead, then would I mourn with them. but I do not require a man to open a door for me, and I would feel horrible if a man were to lay his jacket in a puddle for me to walk over.
but anyway
went to the tail end of a barbecue last night after a jazz ensemble. needless to say, I had a great evening. Since I only knew like, 3 of the 7 guys there, I was a little worried it'd be weird..but no. It was great. I love talking to people who think they know things, because then I also get to pretend to know things.
The night was perfect; when i got home I was able to talk to Caleb and then subsequently fall into a very peaceful sleep.
This morning I got my 3rd exam back from Dr. G. 97%. woo! another sure A.
then I studied for physics. I managed to complete the practise test, but haven't checked my answers yet. I think It was pretty good, though, so I think the final will go well.
now all I need to do is study for biology and haz chem.
...and it finally stopped snowing. hooray.
I find politeness in plain, brutal honesty. Well maybe not brutal brutal, but definitely honesty. It's just so taken for granted, no?
