3:52 Mid Wednesday Afternoon (27 August 2008)   Convenience Microbiology is SO COOL. wow. I was not expecting it to be so absorbing. We'll see how long this lasts. No lab today, thank god. I'm not ready to spend 7 hours nonstop doing school stuff. Dr J told me that soil samples may start coming in on Tuesday, so..that's super-convenient for me as I hope to finish AJ tomorrow or Friday. I'm pretty much back to 100% after Monday's little escapade. I have discovered that I hate being told that something is 'too hard' to do. Like the SI for the o-chem class was talking to the kid in front of me before the lecture started, "in year-long o-chem you have to do blah blah blah and know such and such, but don't worry because you won't be expected to get into that sort of detail in this class." and for some reason that really bothered me, like he was saying "it's ok that you're dumb and unmotivated, that sort of detail is only expected of smart people." I know that's not what he was saying, but that's how it felt to me. I'm silly that way. sigh. my camera comes tomorrrowwwwww (I hope!)
