A haiku for one of my favourite morning meals:
A sizzling fry pan
French Toast breakfast fills bellies
Yum, so delicious.
So Wednesday night, Nathan and I went to see Dramasoc put on 'The Graduate' at the uni theatre in town. It was actually really really good. I was astonished - it wasn't until partway through the first half that I realised that the American accents were fake...and it wasn't that the accents sounded bad, it's just that I realised I wasn't in America. The play was, well...disturbing at times (as to be expected with The Graduate), but absolutely hilarious.
It was fun bonding time with my boyfriend's brother. Apparently Nathan does Salsa and Meringue on Thursday nights, and has been doing so for 6 months! Crazy. Good on him, though.
Yesterday, Geniesa and I went into town for some scavenging adventures. There were some volunteers at the Salvation Army opshop in town that were going around with the "2 dollar" gun and marked everything we had that was over $2 down. Not that it's that big of a deal but I got a $4 pair of pants and a $3 shirt for $2 each. It was quite fun.
At the Jay Jay's in the Palms, though, we found a bunch of really awesome teeshirts 3 for $10. It was amazing. We also went to Northlands and met up with Chris. Good times.
Today Caleb and I are making french toast. :)
i used to write one on my dry erase board every morning for my boyfriend when he woke up =]
