11:01 Late Sunday Night   Oh the Things I will Think I am so bad at keeping my room/the sewing hall clean! So ... This has been an eventful holiday weekend. Bear lake was awesome, i had a great time except once I got home and discovered my borderline 2nd degree burn on my back...where I couldn't reach to put sunscreen.... This means that I also cannot reach to put aloe vera on it, poos. I made my mom rub some aloe into it this evening and she laughed at me because she could see the fingermark-burn-line where sunscreen made it over the bits that didn't. blaaah. Then Friday I went to work for like, 2 hours, made my dad buy me some text books (actually he sort of did it without being asked, go me and my complete spoiled-ness!), then went shopping for some togs and stuff for Lake P next week. I unexpectedly got invited via text to Meggarino's bachelorette, and as we were checking out I was telling Dad about this and how I would like to be dropped off after the play, all while texting Megan to get the address. The cashier said, "oh, that's at my place." I looked up and it was Natalie! Oh man, i was so shocked. How random is that? I thought very random. I barely recognised her, she has certainly changed a lot since high school. So, it was sort of 'family night' and we all went out to eat at a 'Mexican' restaurant before we went to see one of the plays that the repertory company was putting on. The food was ok, not great. Before we went into the theatre, I ran into the Peacock and quickly bought Meggarino a present. I sort of grabbed the first interesting thing I saw and ran out. Good times. The play itself was very good. We saw Deathtrap, and it was very thrilling and surprising. I thought it was awesome. I was entertained the whole way through. The bachelorette was hilarious and giggly, as bachelorette parties should be...full of stories and junkfood and apparently trips to blue boutiques that are an hour's drive away in the middle of the night. Awesome. Saturday was pretty mellow compared to thursday and friday. I kind of lazed around, talking to caleb and thinking about my tea party. Ford called me around 8:30 and asked if I wanted to go round as Angie and he were about to open a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, I had recently had a mojito with a shot and a half of rum and I'm a terrible light weight (not to mention a little underage), so felt uncomfortable driving. I told him so and he decided that my company was so desirable that he'd come pick me up himself, which was awfully nice of him. It was fun to hang out with Ang and Ford, I hadn't seen either of them since I got back and I was missing 'em. I didn't have much in the way of wine, but i did finish off some of their leftovers out of the fridge. Today I woke up and got things a bit prepared for the tea party (got the tea brewing sun-tea-style, filled a cooler with ice, stole some food and lawn games, etc etc), roused Chelsea and her friend Kati, and went to church. It was a decent sermon about letting go of everything and accepting God's love and plan for us or something. I didn't much care for the hymns today. food was good. I saw Ben after church and invited him to our tea fanfare. He agreed to come, so hooray. Spent like half an hour preparing for the tea party once we got to M's house after church and then the next 2 and a half hours bumming around doing nothing, haha. We played a few rounds of telephone and got some pretty bizarre twistings of phrases. The tea party itself was a bit ... more successful than I had planned, haha. As in quite a few more people showed up than I had prepared for. I had plenty of food, but ran dangerously low on drinks (tea), ice, and cups. All in all it was really fun though, and i'm glad everyone came who did. Now I'm sort of dreading work tomorrow, but I just need to remember to charge my mp3 player (in order to preserve what few shreds of sanity i have left in the grinding room) and everything should be ok. I definitely have enough work to last me the next week. I am realllly looking forward to having my lab job back. Oo, Caleb emailed me today asking me which day he should take tutorial in order to maximise our schedule during which we can both talk to each other. I thought that was really nice and thoughtful of him, and it is like, that means he cares about me and wants to spend time with me even if only talking to me on MSN. I really appreciate that.

On computer job: Oh man, I hate competitive jobs (which I've incidentally seem to be going for lots, no? Cd store, movie rental place, etc...silly me). Yay, I'll comment you lots too!
I keep forgetting that you're technically not legal in America, hehh...And I would hardly call paying for textbooks 'spoiling'. Should be a parental obligation, as it goes with paying for your education/college fund, etc ;)
