Admittedly, I was grinding dried grapes, but it was strangely a lot more fun than grinding anything for NAPT. So what's the news? I HAVE MY JOB BACK! hooray! Took the GRE yesterday, did pretty well (I think)...I'll get the official scores in about 2 weeks. They show you your tentative scores for the verbal and quantitative when you submit the test for grading, but I thought they'd be printed out so I didn't think to memorise them. I remember being not devastated when I saw them, so I am not too anxious. My cat is sneezing. Also: Scott added a captcha to anonymous commenting, so I no longer have to fear comment spam so much. Therefore, I've re-enabled anonymous commenting. No news on grad school front...Caleb's application to USU is still pending (though there is no doubt he'll get in, it's just a matter of when he will be informed). U of U isn't accepting new chemistry grads in the spring because they're dumb bitches who don't know what they're missing. I think Caleb is planning to apply to Syracuse and hopefully Washington State. Syracuse... I sent them my GRE scores just in case Caleb ends up there, and i just have to laugh at myself for even thinking they'd be interested in me. especially that they'd be interested in giving me an assistanceship or something for a masters ...they might accept me but i would probably still have to pay the 40 grand or whatever it is a year. Besides, who wants to be ivy league anyway. la la la. I'm so happy I'm working for Dr. G again! I had lunch with a few friends and i have to say, those kids are hilarious. and i got a free cookie. life's good today. ----------------- A few minutes later p.s. yesterday marks 47 months of awesome relationship with Caleb, and my sit anniversary! 4 years of my life are documented in this little corner of the interwub!
