4:08 Late Monday Afternoon (27 July 2009)   Dangling Degrees of Derivation my computer's hard drive unexpectedly went kaput on the last night of Caleb's and my honeymoon. Because I'm stupid, I lost basically a year's worth of photos. Very little else of what I lost mattered; my music and documents were backed up in various places. I also lost some data on Quicken but I don't care that much about it because up until now I haven't had anything complicated in my banking life like a mortgage or 20 million fucking different accounts. ok so really i only have around 9 or so, but that's still twice as much as before. So the lesson is to back shit up, but I don't have an external hard drive or anything on which to back it up. also we still don't have the Internet at our house which has kept me away from a lot of the things on the internet that I love, like watching Sailor Moon episodes on Youtube and writing in my sit. but enough complainy yuckiness. I successfully got married! We went to Vegas for our short weekend honeymoon! It was hot and smelly! but we had a very nice hotel room for free! I've been working, but not enough! I got a library card! I'm trying to convince Caleb that a cat is a good idea! I haven't been biting my nails! Caleb's been good, too. He is working a lot! But he's doing cool things with his enzyme model molecules and reactions and crystallizations....I really don't know what he does but it's very stereotypically chemistry and if it works it is supposed to help in the fight against cancer. Time to passage my cells.
