4:44 Mid Tuesday Afternoon   Cultivars of Dreams in Fantasy Fields Yesterday was the first day of classes. Things are interesting. I danced and sang and yelled at people to donate blood whilst wearing a sandwich board and cavorting around with a person in a giant fuzzy blood-drop costume. My classes were so very boring; i will be very relieved when we start getting into the material and start learning. Aaron is in two of my science courses, so i know that good times are ahead. Last night I went to the concert at the amphitheatre with Arthur and Steve. Caleb asked me if that was awkward. I suppose it might have been had I given it any thought. Tonight is "high-stakes bingo." i told Sara to come and I hope to see megan there. High school ruined me. It is a huge effort to get involved and have any school spirit, but I know attitude is a mind-over-matter thing. i know that i'll have a much better time if i do things at school besides go to class and work. Anyway, that is all for today's Exciting University Experiences. Sunday, before i cleaned my room, I got online and bought a Creative Zen Vision M. I have only heard good things about it, and it may be my apple aversion speaking, but I think it's better than the iPod. For one thing, it supports a lot more media files and doesn't require iTunes to put music on it. I've heard the screen is a lot better, also. I also bought a pair of portable speakers to go with it. the total was $300, and I actually made my first major credit card purchase. go me. Anyway, i'm really excited to have an mp3 player with that kind of space. The end.
