2:13 Mid Sunday Afternoon (7 December 2008)   Louis Pasteur, Disproving Spontaneous Generation To be honest, I'm hoping that Angie comes to study in the basement JUST so that she can be here to make sure my stuff doesn't get stolen when I go to the toilet...I hope she gets here soon so that i don't have to pack all my stuff up to go. So...How does one go about determining if someone is flirting with oneself or just ... talking to strangers? because I think i was being flirted with today by an oldish guy with a son, who went on about hanging christmas trees upside down. and having me buy his kid's christmas presents (told his son he felt bad for him that some starving college kid was going to buy his christmas).... ummm it was a bit odd. kind of funny but really REALLY awkward. the idea of an upside-down christmas tree intrigues me though. I feel smart because i used terminal to update my OLPC's sugar base. oooo linux. but i just followed directions without really knowing what I was doing so it's artificial smartness feelings. ugh i don't know any of the stuff on the study guides for this microbiology class. Mind you I was gone for the first lecture so...that counts for something right? He SAID he wouldn't discount points for the lecture we missed (and he'd give us 1/2 additional credit for the virus questions we get correct)...however I'm not willing to take the chance that he forgets. HMMM. I just want the semester to end. I'm not sure if I want to be really excited about Next Sunday and just wish this next week away, or if I should savor my final 7 days of single life. I will savor it....while being excited for Sunday. :)
