9:27 Sunday Night   Such a Beautiful Night for a Good Time Homecoming was last night. the. best. formal. ever. How come 99% of the seniors i know aren't as cool as my sophomore friends?! Shameful. But eh, my sophomore friends are pretty cool. it's hard to beat them. So yeah. Katherine and i went to put gas in my care because it's the cool thing to do. then we went to walmart. i bought a Cosmo mag because it's something i've kind of always wanted to do. Then we went to Molly's house. From Molly's, we went to KMart and got our sweet as photobooth pictures. we got 12 pictures taken for $3. go here to see them. Then we went to Tacobell! I went through the drive through for the first time everrrrr it was amazing. I joked around with the guy taking my order. And then i wasn't sure when he wanted me to drive up to the window. So when he was finished taking my order i was like "okay and i drive up now, right?" haha. apparently so. he said 'no you can just sit there if you want.' Then Katherine said, "Dylan works here." Dylan is this kinda creepy guy who tried asking me out like 3 times in 2003, he went to my church. I tried to touch the curb from my window. it was hard. I finally got it though. And then Dylan was the guy who took our order. it was crazy. He asked me when i got back from New Zealand. Then i demanded that he give us LOTS of hot sauce. He gave me a high-five. yeah, then we went back to Molly's and ate our food. It was good stuff. I love those bean burritos that are nothingbut beans. because i love beans. gross but true. Then, Molly's amazing, so she did our hair. i love her. She's so good at it. She curled katherine's hair amazingly; it was so adorable. and she did my hair and only curled parts of it, and she made it so elegant. And didn't even use that much heat. I was so happy. I was a little worried at first because it might have been the kind of dress that looks better with an up-do, but i felt so pretty after she did it, that it didn't even matter. And Molly's own hair was so classy. The three of us were gorgeous. I read out loud from my cosmo magazine; the article about how to deal with bitches. It was stupid, but how much girlier can we get? it was awesome. I put on my sexy hooker stilettos, then they told me the dance was going to be outside. eek! So i drove us back to my house, got my blazer, and more practical shoes for a dance on concrete. my pretty hippie sandals. Then we went to Lundstrom park! And we swung on swingsets! and i took lots of pictures and we got crazy looks from the people hanging out in the park, because we were all dolled up, ready for the dance. It was neat. Molly's crush (ooer!) met us at the park and he took Molly to the dance, I picked up this girl Kathryn who goes to Molly's church, and then the we were off to the dance. We met everyone outside of the school at 7:45. I met my date. His name was David and he was ... not really that cute, but he wasn't hideous or anything. At least he was dressed up. I shook his hand and when everyone was there, the 10 or 11 of us walked down the stairs and went to the ticketer and paid our way in. I offered David the money after he paid for me to get in, but he refused to take it. heh. a gentleman? Molly's crush, Matt, and David went and requested 4 songs. But they didn't want to play the christmas songs, because the DJs were not as cool as they could have been. lame. Oh well, they played Bohemian Rhapsody. And then i ran over and requested my song. David taught me how to waltz. It's official. Americans have much better taste in music than New Zealanders. Sorry guys. I had such a good time. It was outside, but once i got into the dancing mood, the cold didn't bother me. It was sweet. I seduced a bunch of guys. I danced with a random, and some acquaintances, and even Craig. I danced with Ben twice. and with David a few times. I saw Kajsa there, and i tacklehugged Matthead. I ended up macarena-ing next to James and then talked to him through two or three songs towards the end, and his girlfriend apparently looked like she wanted to kill me, but James was telling me about something important. I requested one song, i was so excited that they had it. Unfortunately, they started it while we were trying to take our group photos. I was like "JUST TAKE THE DAMN PHOTO!" and it's an awesome picture: here's me running out of it to go dance The Time Warp: . I was the only one who knew it! sad! Scott, Katherine's date, followed my moves though, so there were two of us dancing it. everyone was dancing, but they had no idea. those poor kids. The Time Warp is so awesome. I asked Craig to dance. We were dancing to some fast-paced songs in my group, and katherine came by and i saw Craig and i was like "next slow dance i should ask him to dance, right?" and then right after i said that, the song ended and a slow song came up. He accepted my invitation. We talked for a while, and he admitted to me that the reason he uninvited me was because I have a boyfriend. And he showed me the 9 stitches he got when he had his accident on Wednesday. He randomly noticed that I was skinny. And blamed his randomnosity on his head injury...whatever. he was just checking me out. haha. I liked watching the couples. My favourite was this kinda tubby guy with this rather unattractive girl. He looked SO happy to be there with her, and she looked SO bored. I loved it when she was like dragging him around by the hand with this bored-ish annoyed-ish look on her face and he was just completely, fully happy. It was awesome. Overall it was a great night. Katherine got a ride to her house with her date, and Molly got a ride to her house from Matt. I drove Kathryn and Ben home, then picked up Katherine and Molly back up and we went to Walmart at midnight. it was kick butt. I got to know Kathryn and talked to Ben, because Ben's cool. Kathryn and I had a bit in common. And i kept hitting yellow lights. Walmart at midnight was interesting. I had to get ice cream and 6 2-litres of soda, and contact solution. Molly was in her pjs but Katherine and I were still in our dresses. Katherine and Molly went off to go look at halloween costumes while i looked for contact solution, and they came back and Katherine said, "Aah! we lost her!" and this lady in one of the aisles was like "she's 2 or 3 aisles down still." It apparently was obvious we were together. being the only people in walmart wearing formal dresses. Molly bought mints and gummi worms. We checked out, talked to the poor guy working at walmart from the midnight-to-7 a.m. shift, and went back to my house. I e-mailed caleb and then the three of us went to bed. It was such a great night. such the best. Then we woke up and went to church and it was completely fun. it was gooood times. etc. etc. I went to Border's with Hailey!!!!!!!!! It was awesome! She's so cool; I love her. We had drinks and danced to the live jazz music. We read the "You say bitch like it's a bad thing" book. Goooood times. I'm so glad this week is over. tomorrow's Talk Like A Pirate Day, me hearties! yay!
