5:36 Late Saturday Afternoon
I Notice That People are Kinder
I went to work this morning, i got to sleep in until the ripe old hour of nine a.m. I was gleeful. Then at 10:30 I was at work, and i was with two of my favourite people to work with (not sara, though, unfortunately), and it was a fairly easy luncheon.
I also got a tip cheque the other day; $123.57. and today I got a paycheque; $171.13. Every time i get paid i like my job more. I know that doesn't look like much, but considering how few hours i worked, it's decent.
money is some awesome stuff, because it helps me pay for neat things like education (though Dad says he'll pay my tuition), plane tickets, and mission trips with church. It also pays for material goods like shoes and technological items, like hopefully a laptop soon.
Also, today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining and it is warm, and there are fluffly clouds in the sky. I love the rain, but I've noticed that most people are just plain nicer when it's beautiful outside.
Today while i was driving home, i got a wave from a complete stranger going the opposite direction, just cos we were the only two people on the road. He looked really happy.
i said no to the proposal on thursday, but he knows i meant yes, just not yet.
not for a few years yet.
On days like today, I know we're going to make it through our tough time.
I also got a text message from Kellie today, what a babe. i miss having english with her, and just getting to talk to her. We have a lot in common, it's a shame she moved. Next time I'm in the area, I'm going to have to visit her. It's a noteworthy thing to write, because Kellie just rocks.
And I see your "massive boulders" and raise you one deep-fried lasagna landslide with funnel cloud mastadons.
