5:29 Late Thursday Afternoon (21 August 2008)   It's the Littlest Things which Capture The Most Interest No sé. I feel slightly unprepared for school this semester, but yet excited. This morning Bill decided to chat with the profs, but ended up talking primarily to me for 20 minutes about random things. I always feel weird when Bill comes to the table, and weirder when he decides to talk to me. I wonder what he was like before the accident. He'd probably be a professor at some prestigious university. Sometimes he can be really nice and friendly but sometimes he can be really scary and mean. Luckily today was a nice friendly day. I had lunch with M while I was waiting for my samples equilibrated. In other news, I finished the soils today. All of them are done. The data is entered and saved. I realised today that the 'stephen, stephen' song by Apples in Stereo that keeps coming up when i randomise a playlist on my Zen is about Stephen Colbert. It made me laugh, and now somehow I like that song 10 times as much as I used to. It's weird how much the likeability of a song can change just by knowing the lyrics. Oh, and I bought a new camera, since my canon seems to be officially fubar'd. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ4, i'm really excited to get it. Tomorrow I will finish grinding grapes and start weighing them out, then in my breaks at school next week I can analyze them. I'm really excited to start working for Dr J. I told Dr G that she asked me to work for her, and he told me he already knew, and that he was going to work on some of the same things so it would be very convenient to have me around. I also heard rumours that I might get a raise, but they are just rumours, so we'll see.
