5:03 Late Monday Afternoon   Well, Nice Weather So. Back in the US. I don't know. It's so mixed feelings. Apparently, our diabetic cat has been more lethargic than usual (which is saying quite a lot, if it's noticeable) in the last month, but in the last 24 hours since my sister and I have been back has been more active and affectionate (according to my dad). So I guess it's a good thing that we're back so that Mickey doesn't waste away in the basement. It's also nice to be in the beautiful summer valley. And I was happy to be at work this morning. It is, however, like saying a tearful goodbye to any remnants of a social life I might have salvaged...there tends to be more to do/see in Christchurch than here, and my friends in New Zealand tend to be more interested in doing random stuff and hanging out than my Utah friends. This is probably not entirely true...There are of course things to do with my friends here. It just seems like I always had someone to text if I wanted to hang out. Maybe it's just cos I was living with my best friend, but who knows. Speaking of living with my best friend, probably the worst thing about being back is, as expected, not being with Caleb. I can put up with a lot of things I don't particularly like as long as I get to be with Caleb. Anyway. Time to go and do the dreaded Unpacking which I have been putting off for so long.
