11:31 Saturday Night
 Never invite Zombies to Parties
Today was chill. HAha, I said chill.
I woke up around 10 this morning, received a nice e-mail from him. It was great. "blah blah blah, randomly realised how lucky I am to have a girlfriend I can trust with everything, blah blah" and then information about the youth group thing tonight because he's so sweet and nice.
Did I mention that Andrew might not know about us? Because I was talking about Hyun Woo when Caleb was in the kitchen to Andrew and Zeb and Vetti. I was like, "Yeah, i guess if he keeps sifting onto me, I'll just ask him what his motives are and say like, 'Hyun Woo, I don't like you--I have a boyfriend.'" and Andrew said, "Do you?" Re: boyfriend and then we found a shiny new change of subject and i didn't have the opportunity to answer. Oh darn.
So after I got that e-mail, Dad and I went to the French Bakery on Waimari and bought chocolate filled brioche because it's like saturday morning tradition. I dig hanging out with my dad, just the two of us, when there are no problems and no anger and no tension in the air. Bonding sessions, I guess. My dad's a pretty cool guy sometimes. Just when he's pissed ...
I wish I wasn't so much like him. I love him but I don't want to be like him. And yet every time I get mad and I yell at someone I see more and more of him in my person. I must work on that.
So I'm doing really good on the not biting my fingernails front. They look tons and tons better than they used to. woohoo! I mean, it's even past the point where they look bitten at all. My tech teacher was showing me how to file the edges of the coaster and he was like "Do you do your nails? Do you bite them? *looks at my fingernails* No, so you'll know how to file the wood" Hurray.
I chilled out, got online, and lazed around outside. I finished that love letter thing and listened to music. The Zak and Sara song by Ben Folds which reminds me of Amy and early morning swim practice and also Sara because of the name. I really like that song.
I talked to Dan online for ages and ages until mum wanted on and i had to get off. I miss talking to him so much. We really are so much alike. The funny thing is I'd write this even if I knew he wouldn't read it.
Caleb got home from soccer and called me, so I went to his house and had tea with his family. I love his family.
Caleb drove (AAAAH) us to Rosie's for the youthgroup thing tonight. His dad was in the front, of course, as Caleb only has his learner's, and Caleb did pretty good. Shifting between gears he was pretty jerky, but who isn't when they're first learning? I've only ever driven a stick shift three times. One was a diesel pickup truck for about 15 metres in a wheat field. One was a tractor (I work for my dad in the summers). One was a dune buggy. Then I got my learner's permit/license and I haven't driven a stick since. I really want to learn though. It's a handy thing to know.
Playing capture the flag at victoria park was pretty fun, I finally got to watch a decent sunset and see the city lights.
A cute, short Asian guy I don't know fell down a hill (his name wasn't jack, though) and bung up his knee/elbow/hand. Later that night he asked me to dance to Drew and another guy playing guitars and singing pretty songs about loving God. So i danced with him, and he asked me for my cell number. I gave it to him, and then I saw caleb and had to desperately fight the urge to sneak up behind him and hug him.
The asian kid had a sixpack,
but caleb is still sexier.
He was shirtless when i came by. And he wore one of his polo shirts and i was like *drool*. sexay. I don't even mind his armpit hair. hahaha.armpit hair has always annoyed me and yet i don't care.
We had a ticklefight today! It was so much fun. Zeb and Caleb and I invented new verbs. Wench is now a verb. YAY for nouns/adjectives becoming verbs!
Today was pretty great. I reckon the only sad part was hanging out at Victoria Park right before we started our game and overhearing some girl from church talking about how she wanted to get drunk.
As though being drunk makes you cool.
Sorry, I'd rather do stupid incriminating things while sober, thanks. Righto.
I think I'll go to bed. I think tomorrow'll be pretty good as well. :D
I know! It was a really good night in the end! Yay! I'm so glad I ended up going!
I miss you! I love you! I want you!
