Happy Birfday to me!

Woke up at like 8:30am and did some yoga cuz I couldn't sleep anymore. I was kinda of too stressed or excited to go home.

Kellie came to pick me up and we headed up to Logan. We talked the whole way up there about good and bad choices in boys. Natalie called on the way up to sing to me. Art was grunting/singing in the background. hah She's funny so is Kellie. I'm glad she took me home. I was excited to be home.

We dropped off my stuff at my house and saw me Mum (she was talking to the Babcocks, the Babcocks are home!!) like 10 minutes before 11am. We went to the bridal shower for Natalie at Kirri's house and found out Mum went shopping at the time it started really.

I had breakfast this morning and finished the box of Honeycombs so I figgered it was big enough to put Natalies present in. I put a red pillow for those 'rawr' nights (like Loryn got) and a gareter I've had forever in my closet (random) and then some rubber ducks! A family of ducks.

So anyways, my gift, of course, was the only one in a cereal box. And I didn't care. I don't know what the deal is with trying to impress ppl with gifts and wrapping... but okay. Natalie knows me too well anyway.

Afterwards I had tied myself to Shelly cuz I love her and miss her and I didn't get to her reception. We waddled over to the chocolate covered strawberries and rice crispies. Fun times, Megan, Kellie, Lindsey, Shelly, Kiwi, Emily, Natalie.... It was awesome. Felt awesome. But Kiwi is leaving for school today to BYU-I do. Sadness. She gave me a bright pink headband for my Bday and a Claires gift card. I heart her.

They sang to me when Kellie told Lindsey it was my bday. Mum in the next room looks around, "Who's birthday is it?" until she heard the name they were singing to. Oy. Then I showed her what I got from Kirri and she asks "Why did she give you something?" Um...mother...my birthday? heh We seem to have this trouble every year. But hey, at least this year I got a cake! Pink polka dot!

And Vatti got the right...month at least!

Anyways, Kellies mum found out it was my bday too and invited me to eat Subway lunch with her family at their house. So after the shower I went home with Kellie and had lunch. We had very interesting conversations.... My depressing career, to Kevins 'vast' knowledge on purchasing houses, to Dancing with the Stars tv show. Around 5pm she took me home and went home to SLC.

At home there was only a drowsy father on the couch with Mum getting ready for a dinner and a talk at the stake center. So she ditched me. I decided to spend some money and go shopping. I went shopping for shirts b/c that always makes me happy. I spent like $30 for like four shirts and got a super cute baby size bathrobe for my Cole. heh!

On the way into town I saw that the movie Fools Gold was playing at the cheap theatre at 7:30 so after shopping I went to Firehouse and got my cordon bleu pizza and went to the movie. Wheee.

Then I went over to Natalies until like 11pm, got tired and came home to me Mum where she decided to tell me how unhappy I am with life.

Then end of my real birthday....
