-9?? -9?!?! How many more negatives do you get before you're legally blind!? Two astigmatisms now?? One wasn't bad enough? Can you imagine the types of contacts I'll be wearing and how thick my glasses will be and how much all that will cost me?!

I keep saying "oh c'mon -8, you can't get anymore blinder... right? It'll start to even out now that yer...older" But nooooo. Apparently, older means like 28. If I'm at -9 at 21, how many negatives do you tink I'll be at by age 28?!? I'm soo doomed. He said I was "slowing down". Yeah instead of jumping from -8 to -9 I'm getting there .25 every few months! The lady says she's seen patients up to -20!!

That doc man sorta bugs me. He's the classic asks a question to show he values your opinion and then moves on without giving time to respond.... "How does that sound to you? Great! We'll see you next time!" ... "But...but I don't ... I dont.."

I'm gonna die deaf and blind and toothless!! That is if I survive the blood clots, heart attacks, MS, fibromaylga, arthritis. and diabeties. *sigh* This is not the age to learn about your pending doom.
