June 27-30 Thurs-Sunday Spencer Reunion in Ashton Idaho (Shirleys kids planned it) The dominant feeling of that reunion was. Annoyed. Because it was ..neverending and getting old quickly.] Besides the HUGE hassle it took to get Shirley and Danny there on Friday just to leave in another day. The most annoying thing was, not my Aunt Shirley mind you (whom no one seemed enjoy her company but we pretended), was the fact that -everyone- wanted to hold/see the baby boy Cole. The endless questions if they couldn't visibly see Cole or his mother. It annoyed Mindy because she never got to see her baby and everyone thought they could fix him all the time, when THEY were the problem all along! It annoyed me to see my sister would have to literally hide from others just to be with her baby. And when those two disappeared everyone would ask ME where they are! It's not even my kid and I'm supposed to keep tabs on him? Goodness. I love my sister, I do, but I don't care where she is 24/7! The most annoying was my...Aunt?..Diane. Everytime I had Cole for like five seconds (he was kinda sick) he'd be bawling and she'd heard it a mile away and come running. Made me look bad. She caught me with him everytime he cried. She prolly thought Cole didn't like me after that. Thanks a lot Cole. And then she was annoying in the fact that the only thing she talked about was her son Nick. She went on and on with praise for this son of hers. "He's so great. You have to meet him. He's going on a mission then when he comes back I'll hook him up with some girl and they can make me gran-babies! He's hilarious. You'll love him." He was a normal annoying immature pumpous 18 year old. I never saw the 'greatness' in him! *rolls her eyes* And then she'd tell us how Nick and his friends throw fire crackers and 'bombs' at the sheriff of the town who was also their coach and how they basically harass the neighborhood. "They do stupid stuff like that, oh but their good kids." It's like OPEN YER EYES LADY. Least tolerant with Diane.... Next in line for annoyances was the 9 and 11 yr old girls running around. Of course, they flocked the baby also but they also did the whole "Oh look older 'kids' to start fights with" and harassed me the whole time. Irk. Anyways....this is what I remember doing. -had sleepover with Natalie and Art again -came home at nine and everyone was dead asleep and they were worried about me not getting up in time Pff -got in car with Dad and Colton - Dad drove -realized we put the taillights on the camper wrong(we borrowed from the Cox's) and pulled over to switch them -went back to get mothers cell phone -watched Dad wiggle himself to death in the car -helped Dad take his wiggle pills -listened as Dad explained how drowsy the pills make him, feeling comforted -eventually pulled over and I took over driving the rest of the way -got there around 5:30 - 6pm -made tacos in Shaunas house - fed people -set up camp in Shaunas yard - didn't get camping spots -froze by 8 or 9pm and bundled up in sweater and blanket -sat on camp chairs talking with Teddy and people waiting for Patsy & Jed -listened little girls screaming playing games (bedtime) -jumped in my sleeping bag and laid on grass still waiting for Patsy at 11pm(getting texts from her) -everyone held flashlights as Jed & the boys set up their tent around midnight -slept in camper with Braxton (Brax had literally whined until he fell asleep) -woke up dying in heat -found Mindy hiding her baby -had breakfast (pancakes the girls made) -went up to the waterfall in Patsys van (interesting experience) following the truck with all the kids in it -got eaten alive by bugs, took pictures, thought Cole was cute -hung out in the lodge/store, made Min buy me postcards :D -drove back, had lunch -watched Mindys tire go flat -got swim suit on and went to Warm Springs campground -was told to catch people/tubes goin down the river until Mum kinda...fell in and took my place, I took pictures and harassed Colton, Grandma and Neils family showed up! -watched Min chase Uncle Jed around - never seen him run like that before. I thought he'd die. -Went back to Shaunas for dinner (hamburgers and hot dogs) -rode horses in my swimming suit waiting for dinner -ate food, drank my Applebeer I made Mum buy for me! -got my sweater over my swimming suit and sat at the camp fire -chit chat with the grown ups that came to talk -got ready for bed, got my own bed -woke up to Scott wanting to get dressed (as in someone help him and/or do it for him) -had breakfast, played with the horses again -got soaked by stupid little girls -sat on girls and soaked them with hose -went to the 'museum' down the road from Shaunas -watched Jed & Patsy pack up their stuff, steal Grandma and go to Twin Falls for Adams wedding -rode horse for a bit more (she was tired) and put her away and wandered around while Mum and Dad made plans of what to do next -packed up and left Mum to drive back with Shirley and Danny, got in the car with Colton and Scott and drove home. Dad, Mindy, Cole and Braxton in the van. -stopped for gas in Pocotello -ate at Subway/BurgerKing for lunch -got home Saturday around 8:30 -called and bugged Dallin, got in shower, went to Wall-e with them all, sat next to Caleb (Dallin left the seat between him and his wife ..for me. Awkward. I made him sit by his wife. -went to Wally World and ran into Crystal who told me how she was cheating on her boyfriend and that David Heiner drowned in North Carolina. Sad day. -cried on the way home -came home and ate food and watched TV with Colton -fell asleep on the couch -woke up and ate more food -attempted to go to church -got called to Brigham City instead -waited like an hour for Mum, Shirley and Danny to come -switched vehicles and rode home with Shir and Dan -helped them pack up the car -dropped them off at the airport -called Claine in panic for a way to get home from airport -ended up at Mindys house and ate her food -eventually left to cool the house down and unpack my stuff -went home and felled asleep around 6:30 after Patsy texted and said they were in Farmington (an hour later they showed up or something) -woke up in the middle of the night and wondered if Grandma had made it home from Twin Falls by then...hmmm -more sleep - work on monday All my 'vacations' so far have been...undecidedly...fun... As in the activities are fun, but the people....get a little annoying. So maybe I need a 'vacation' with people that won't annoy me so much. As in I need a vacation not with family.... with friends. :D Excellent. Fourth of July is my last jump of freedom before boringness totally sets in. I'm kinda excited for the Fourth (usually something good gets started on that day) but I don't know who to hang out with! So many people I want to be with! Other than that...I have nothing on my calendar cept maybe for the Law Reunion sometime this summer...And of course all the weddings in August and stopping and restarting school again.
