Is it me or is the boss dictating everything twice today?
I'm sure I've heard at least three documents twice now....
Now, which verison does he want?
MOVING DAY!
I have to admit, the least stressful part TO ME, anyway, has suddenly become a wee bit stressful simply cuz everyone else asserts their opinions. Packing. "You have to put things in boxes!", "Don't put those two things together! That needs to go in a separate box", "Don't you want to wrap those up a little better?", "You should close that box really tight so nothing falls out" blah blah. What next? Packing tape? Seriously, I don't own that much stuff and none of it is valuable, honestly. Most of its plastic! Picture frames are prolly the most expensive fragile things I own. Bag it and just throw it in the back of a truck and down the road. How do you think I got to SLC to begin with? Packing boxes? I don't think so. I literally shoved it all in the Blazer and boom I'm here! hah I remember shoving the vanity in the blazer with all my stuff still in it. That's talent yo!
Well, after my mother coming to town to 'help me pack', needless to say I didn't get much sleep. I wake up to an empty room. I have no normal landmarks as I get up to go to the bathroom. I have nothing else accessible cept my clothes, which thankfully is all I really need for work. Food is another issue tho. But then again, with the lack of sleep eating isn't exactly on the list of things to do either.
But none the less I am excited! I have a load in my car right now that I'll drop off on the way home (where ever that is nowadays) and scope out the place and see what I really need to bring and then go home and get the rest of my stuff and make another trip to the condo with family and truck in tow. I feel LOTS better checking out the place first before having my stuff and family come see. Knowing what to expect is the key to me. I have a vague idea, but I think I should've checked out the place more the first time.
I think Grandma is gonna cry. I just might too if she does. I love her, but I'm excited!
