It seems all I do is write in here and complain about my house hunting.

But thus is my life as of now!

Just got back from condo hunting. And it was quite frankly....depressing.

The one I really like in South SLC is under contract and prolly gonna go. :( Not that anyone would let me live in that area anyway. The ones that I looked at over at Creekside were nice, not so complicated, lots in HOA fees, but a nice interior, but the agent and I think they are overpriced for a one/bed one/bath. The one across the way was definitely overpriced, and the next door one didn't have the right keybox, but its prolly just the same as the other overpriced one. Then we did a detour and got lost in this complicated maze at the WillowBook Condos, I believe it was. Open the door and overpowered by the smell of smokers. Ugh. Then when we finally got the keybox to work, open that door and another whiff of something simliar to cat pee or a litter box. The place was gutted, carpet out, walls striped, a piece of junk really. I didn't even want to step inside. Ew.

Sooo.. that pritti much took my only chance, cuz if Murray wouldn't do it for me, then I ain't got anything else. Everything else is out West in which my Grandmother wouldn't let me live anyway.

The boss is encouraging. Still naive enough to think that some good ones are listed almost every day and blah blah. I've stared at the same list like the past two weeks. There's no new ones. Sigh. Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally bummed that I'm not finding a condo to live in. I'm totally cool with that. More than okay not to spend that much money. I'm not too worried and/or stressed. But its just ...depressing and humbling to find out what you really can afford. I will discover that lesson again the next time I go house hunting. Most people find this out together with a spouse. hah.

Well, I guess the game plan is to .... uh... keep looking? I really don't think some of these, based on their area, is worth looking at... but whatever... onward and upward.
