I remember 9/11 from 9 years ago. It was a Tuesday. I was supposed to be at school, but I stayed home sick (sept is never a good month for me). 8th grade. North Cache. Mrs. Wheelers English class. I could imagine everyone wathcing all the TVs in the classrooms, where we usually to watch the school news. At home I turned on the TV and the computer. It was early in the morning so nothing good was on so I left it on the news and paid attention to the computer. They kept repeating the same thing/story over and over and I finally turned around and saw burning buildings and mass chaos on the screen. I didn't know the significance of the buildings. I didn't know the massive damage it was physically and emotionally. I just remember sitting in my PJs in my blankets at the computer staring at the TV, I didn't know the facts, the significance, the intensity of the situation and what it would bring for the next 9 years, but I could feel it. Kinda how I felt when Obama became president.
