I think I'm getting sick.

The boss was sick over the Thanksgiving weekend.

He came into work sick Monday morning.

Don't we just love considerate bosses?

I was so mad at him all day yesterday.

I growled in his direction every time I had a fever like chill huddled in my coat at my desk.

I can feel my energy drain. Food is a obligation about three times a day now.

I do usually get sick about twice a year tho. Usually spring allergies/sinus infection and then once in the winter, usually Dec/Jan ish, a normal cold wherein I use almost a whole box of tissues.

I'm sure its 50/50 though. Me getting the boss sick and then 50% of him getting me sick.

But hopefully with Vitamin C every day, my sudden interest in pomegrantes which are rich in vitamins to help the immune system, my occasional exercise to open up the airways, the wonderful Claratin D I discovered (that literally makes the mucus disappear, miracles!) and the fact I bleach my dishes when I do the dishes.... I think I'll come out of this mostly unscathed. My body put me on notice that its under attack, but I think the armies of T-cells in there are fighting back pretty good and strong. I shall have the victory!

But it'll be that lovely limbo where you notice, you feel, you know your energy levels have dropped dramatically, but there are no other signs of illness so everyone thinks you are fine, acts like you are fine, and treats you like you are fine, but you do not feel fine.

As long as I move as slow as a tortoise I can manage to continue my normal full daily schedule. And if I manage to get some food down to keep what energy I have left.

The roommate is taking a class at the community college.

Her instructor is a 78 year old woman.

Who, apparently, forgot to put in her teeth before going to class last night.

I bet you never thought the instructor forgetting her teeth would be an issue for you in a classroom setting, now did ya?

Yeah, try understanding her lecture then when she can't enunicate words and certain letters.

Of all the things we worry about in a classroom setting, never thought this would be in on the list...

That'll change yer prayers.

"Dear God, Please help me remember the material to pass this test tomorrow, and please let the instructor remember to put her teeth in before coming to class also. I'm starting to have nightmares. Amen."
