I'm not asking for financial security, a big house, a nice car, a reputation, friends in high places. I don't necessarily need this feeling of 'safety' that woman always look for (like getting a dog to scare away intruders). I do not want to be spoiled with stuff or vacations. I do not want to showered with gifts and brushed aside for work or 'guy time'. I do not want to be temporarily placated with high maintenance attitudes.

I just want an equal partner, someone to talk to, someone to listen to, someone to make decisions with, someone who will take time and pay attention to me. Someone who will make me be better, want to be better. Someone who has a relationship with God. Someone who is capable and willing to have a relationship with children. Someone with patience.
