Day four of the boss gone to Spain and the office to myself. All. Alone. Quite literally with nothing to do. So I went to the library and got some books and the first season of Lost. Using the boys portable DVD player to watch the season, reading every once in awhile, and I've finally been able to catch up on my 'scrapbook/journal'.

Last weekend we went up to Blackfoot and visited Grandpas grave, found the wedding place PB&G or something that reminds me of PB&J... dropped Gma off at her sisters house, visited for awhile, and then we went to explore Blackfoot. Followed the 'brown signs' to the Potatoe Museum. We stopped by there and looked at the gift shop, we weren't really into the actual museum thing about potatoes, but you do get a free potatoe and/or hash browns at the end of your tour. We didn't want to pay money for that, but curious what the museum would hold regarding potatoes. We went and found ice cream. Mmm Huckleberry ice cream. Browsed a thrift store and went to Honks and finally found a fly swatter and some other kitchen things I needed.

Mum texted around 3:30 saying her, dad, and Grandpa L were at wedding place and she was going insane with the two boys freaking out about being late and needed saving. So we went to the wedding place and saved Mum from the boys. We went in and Diana thought we were crazy coming so early. We decided to kinda help out with the food they were doing. I think Diana made most/all of those desserts we were decorating. Her color was teal which juss happened to be the color of the skirt I brought.

We got dressed and watched the wedding. One girl commented that Sheri had never had a father so it was cute/sweet to see/know that she has a dad now. Richard and his blonde girl and Diana and her tall, skinny, dark haired/skinned girl are now a happy family. Diana's sister and brothers showed up for the event, how sweet. RaeAnn & Randy, Doc & Gay, Mike & Trish, me & Evan and Diana's dad there to give her away. Doc showed up in suspenders, jeans, and blue shirt complete with ball cap on his mostly bald head. But hey, at least he showed up eh. I think it was sweet.

We pigged out on the desserts and got sick and decided to go get Gma. She was visiting with her brother and sister almost the whole day. I shoulda got a picture of the three of them. I'm kinda sad I didn't. It was cute. I think they are the only ones left from their family. Learned that Gma hadn't eaten anything while she was there, after we got sick on junk food, so we stopped to force feed her a hamburger before traveling home. Then the three hour ride home with Gma reading all the mileage signs (as if I couldn't see/read them) continually updating me on how many more miles til SLC and the obligated conversation that comes with driving at night to keep the driver 'awake'. We got home around 10:30-11pm, dropped Gma off and went home to bed.

Went to church the next day and the boy wanted to go for a motorcycle ride. He took me up Big Cottonwood. I've never been up there. We stopped and watched the flooding river. It got so cold the higher we got riding in only shorts and tank top. There was still snow up there. Going up was cool besides the actual cold temperature, but the coming down kinda hurt my butt, back and legs on the bike. Got to see all our road friends on their bikes too. One decided to talk about his 1,000 mile trip alone he did juss recently. Stopped by Murray park and saw all the flooding going on there. We got super hot, sore, and sunburnt which is what we usually do Sundays and then we went to Gmas for lunch. Chili and ham...mmm can't get any better than that. Then we went to his place and watched Signs. Creepy.

That was last weekend, and this weekend going up to Logan fireworks and then to Idaho for water park and camping and possibly going to Mitchells baby blessing and maybe coming back home before the fireworks here on the 4th. Fun times. I'm excited. I juss wish I wasn't spending so much money to get to Idaho and back lately. I'm worried about finances, but I'm usually overracting so I'll be fine.
